OverTop Painting — five landing page concepts

Same business, same facts, same photos. Five different attitudes. Concepts 4 and 5 were built after researching 2026 web design trends. Pick the direction, and every page of the new site gets built in that voice. Open each one on desktop and on your phone.

Concept 1

Fresh Coat

Warm, photo-forward and friendly. The classic high-converting layout: quote form in the hero, trust strip, service cards, before/after slider.

  • Brand blue + red, Poppins, soft rounded shapes
  • Feels like a trusted family business
  • Lowest risk, broadest appeal

In Writing

Trust and precision. Built around OverTop's real differentiator: the detailed written estimate. Blueprint grid, an animated estimate sheet, checklists of what's included.

  • Navy + paper white, red as a stamp
  • Speaks to homeowners and HOA / facility buyers
  • Most distinctive positioning

Over the Top

Bold and energetic. The slogan made literal: a red roller stroke paints the headline. Big condensed type, dark sections, a city marquee, hover-reveal service list.

  • Charcoal + OverTop red, Barlow Condensed
  • Memorable, confident, younger feel
  • Biggest visual statement

Bento

Modular "bento" layout: every tile is a decision aid (call, rating, warranty, before/after, reviews). Light and dark mode with a toggle, glass navigation, scroll-driven reveals in native CSS.

  • Manrope, soft 22px tiles, brand blue + red
  • Scans fast on mobile, dense on desktop
  • Feels like a 2026 product site

Tactile

Sharp corners, 1px rules, paper-noise texture, no shadows. Big editorial headline "Good paint. Honest prep. Clean floors." A red progress line paints across the top as you scroll.

  • Bricolage Grotesque + JetBrains Mono
  • Honest, hand-built, anti-template feel
  • Most distinctive of the five

Notes for review. Photos are AI-generated placeholders in OverTop's red crew shirts; they will be replaced with real job photos. Forms show a thank-you message but don't send yet. Facts on the pages come from the content brief; items still to confirm with the owner: years in business wording, street address, license number, Instagram handle, warranty terms, Google review count, and team names (Marcel appears in reviews).
2026 trend research behind concepts 4 and 5. What held up in practice this year: bento grid layouts (higher scroll depth), dark-mode-aware sites with token-based colors, bold viewport-scaled typography, native CSS scroll-driven motion kept light for Core Web Vitals, glassmorphism limited to navigation, and "tactile brutalism" (sharp corners, 1px borders, texture, high contrast) as a differentiator. What overpromised: heavy 3D/WebGL, kinetic type that breaks accessibility, blob shapes in conversion flows. For contractors specifically: mobile click-to-call, custom photography over stock, before/after proof, service-area clarity, structured data. Sources: Studio Meyer reality check, Fireart, Envato, Wix, Hook Agency (contractor sites).
